Plucking The Root

One of the hardest things about maturing in Christ is identifying behaviors that are not representative of who He is and are not conducive to our spiritual growth.

In this Christian journey of developing, maturing, and believing God's truth about who we are, we are challenged to cast down every thought that contradicts His word. Most of our thoughts and views on life, in general, derives from our cultures, past experiences, and teachings from those that raised and groomed us. Whether we had a silver spoon in our mouths, or the complete opposite, we all have been victims of cycles, or thoughts that were detrimental to our emotional and mental health.
